Australian Education International - International Student Data for 2008

AEI student enrolment data are derived from the Provider Registration and International Students Management System (PRISMS) database and counts enrolments by students studying in Australia on a student visa. The data includes commencements, finishes and year-to-date counts. It is broken down by Nationality, Sector, State/Territory, Field of Study and Level of Study.


Australia Education International - International Student Data Summaries 2000 to 2008.

International student data are provided for 2002 onwards. These include enrolment data by month, and data on commencements and cessations of enrolments, as well as annual summaries. The data are depicted in a number of ways with several tables being available for free.

The Research Snapshot series has been developed by the International Research and Analysis Unit to provide stakeholders with summary updates on current activities and developments in international education data and research.

Australian Education International - Strategic Framework for International Engagement by the Australian School Sector 2008-2011

International Education Research


ISANA: International Education Association offers an excellent collection of conference papers relating to the Australian and New Zealand international education industry.


Database of Research on International Education. This searchable web database contains details of 7030 books, articles, conference papers and reports on various aspects of international education from publishers in Australia and overseas. The database covers material published from 1990 to 2007.


ANZSSA.  The Australia and New Zealand Student Services Association represents a wide variety of professional and lay people, who share a common concern in the welfare and development of post-secondary education students and their institutions in the two countries.  They offer a refereed journal of articles with comment and debate on current issues, reports of student services in practice, policy matters, research projects, reviews of relevant books - JANZSSA Articles.
